Installation of a ground stabalising semi permeable weed barrier membrane.
Installation of a compacted type 1 self binding aggregate up to a depth of 100mm after compaction.
Installation of a compacted grit sand bedding layer to a depth of 15-25mm.
The new artificial grass is unrolled and cut roughly to size.
The artificial grass is very carefully and accurately trimmed to enable a seamless unnoticeable joint.
Bonding of the joints using a special adhesive tape. It is very important to take care to ensure that the joint is not seen once bonded together.
The perimeter is then trimmed and secured to the timber with galvanised pins.
Certain artificial grass would need to be kiln dried with sand brushed into it to help the grass stay upright.
